Women's Basketball Welcomes 3 New Players for Upcoming 2026-27 Season

The Douglas College Women's Basketball program is pleased to announce that the following three players will be joining the Royals for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Milana Zuzolo
Position: Forward
Height: 5'11"
High School: Heritage Woods Secondary
Previous Club Team: JR Elite/Level Up Prep
Hometown: Port Moody, BC
Why did you choose Douglas College: "I chose Douglas because it felt like the right fit for me. From the start, I liked the environment and the group of girls on the team. I'm super excited to be coached by Coach Steve, Hannah, and Bill, and to learn from the other athletes in the program. It's competitive, but also supportive, and I think that's the kind of atmosphere where I can grow the most as a player."

Meena Litt
Position: Guard
Height: 5'9"
High School: Westsyde Secondary
Previous Club Team: Bball4A
Hometown: Kamloops, BC
Why did you choose Douglas College: "Great team, love the environment and I thought it was a good place for me to start. I like the coach and coaching style and at the camp all the players made me feel welcome and it's a place where I feel I belong."
Coach Steve Beauchamp's thoughts: "Meena impressed us with her offensive versatility, ability to defend, and basketball IQ. We are excited about her potential and the options she gives us at the 1, 2 and 3 spots. We look forward to Meena making an immediate impact."
Lindsay Correa
Position: Guard
Height: 5'6"
High School: Holy Cross Regional Secondary
Previous Club Team: Athelite
Hometown: Surrey, BC
Why did you choose Douglas College: " I chose Douglas College to continue my academic and athletic journey in a highly developed basketball community surrounded by supportive coaches, staff, and talented teammates. I am excited to grow both on and off the court while competing at a higher level. Douglas offers the environment I need to challenge myself, develop my skills, and reach my future career goals."
Coach Steve Beauchamp's thoughts: "Lindsay joins us after her recent provincial championship with the Holy Cross Crusaders. Lindsay has an impressive basketball IQ, is an excellent passer, and a reliable defender. She has the potential to make an immediate contribution at the point guard position. "
